Features and Benefits
Since the Wallrock Thermal Liner is going to be a feature in your house for many years, it is specially formulated for ease of use yet very strong in order to keep your walls in pristine condition no matter what subsequent decoration and re-decoration you choose. Should you wish to paint, wallpaper, use lining paper, over and over again, then the Wallrock Thermal Liner will remain intact.
How to apply/use with Thermal Liner
Before you make a start, it is important to cover all other surfaces in the room, such as carpets and furniture, to avoid splashes and drips. We recommend that you paste the wall, using a soft roller made of either sheepskin or polyamide. A paint brush can also be used, especially around the edges to ensure 100% coverage of the wall where it can be difficult to get sufficient coverage using just a roller. In order to ensure a strong final bond it is important to use a liberal amount of the adhesive. The Wallrock Thermal Liner is absorbent, so remember to be generous when pasting.
Eco credentials
The paste is made up of 2 components. Firstly there is a viscous paste which is designed to be smooth, easy to roller and drip-resistant, which holds the Wallrock Thermal Liner in place, but allows the product to slide for perfect matching at the seams. Secondly there are polymers added to increase the bond strength of the final adhesive layer and give the adhesion its permanency. Both components used are water based and the paste component is made from starch which is a completely renewable product and ecologically sound.

Other uses
The Wallrock Thermal Liner System Adhesive can be used for all other types of wallcovering. The high viscosity gives extra grip and is perfect for hanging wallcoverings in difficult places such as stairs and ceilings. The additional polymers mean that it is ideal for use where you require a wallcovering to be long lasting, and also resistant to mould, so ideal for damp rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms.
Coverage
Each Thermal Liner roll is approx 50% wider than a standard roll and therefore is sufficient to cover up to 7.5m2. Each 10kg tub of system adhesive is sufficient for a minimum of 2 rolls of Thermal Liner even on cracked and damaged walls.
